About Us
Oakwood Art Studio is a vibrant and inclusive creative space offering drawing, painting, and craft classes for all ages and abilities.
Studio hours will be Wednesday through Sunday with classes and workshops held 3 days per week. Classes will have an average of 8 students per class taught by
experienced instructors.
In addition to our regular studio offerings, we will host a variety of events, workshops, and parties that will support downtown initiatives. (E.g. Septemberfest and Witches Night Out). These gatherings are designed to inspire and engage artists, offering unique opportunities for learning, networking, and celebrating creativity.
Art supplies, artwork, project kits, and art-related gifts will be for sale as well as
seasonal items.

A Grand Day Out: Summer Art Adventures with the Grandkids
It’s that time again, school’s winding down, and summer stretches out ahead like a blank canvas. If you’re a grandparent, chances are you’ve been asked (or have volunteered!) to watch the grandkids for a few days while their parents juggle work or sneak away for a quick getaway. We've got you covered and call it the Grand Day Out, a simple, meaningful way to spend time together, away from screens and full of creativity.
It doesn’t matter if you’ve painted before. What matters is the experience. And you’ll leave with artwork you’ll probably want to hang on the fridge, or maybe even frame.
Sessions will be affordable because we know how quickly summer activities can add up.

Father's Day Craft Night
Oakwood Art Studio is thrilled to team up once again with Craft Creations by Nikki for a brand-new creative experience! Join us for a fun, hands-on evening as you design and paint your own personalized sports-themed wooden door hanger, perfect as a unique Father’s Day gift or a bold piece for your own space.

Abraham Ranch is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues and rehabilitates horses and farm animals in Clarkston, Michigan. The ranch is part sanctuary and part adoption facility. Please click on the logo for more information.

Perfect for all skill levels, this social event is a great way to unwind, express yourself, and connect with friends. All supplies are provided – just bring your imagination.
After-School Art & Activities in Ortonville - Only $10 an hour
Every: Wednesday & Thursday 4:00 to 6:00pm
Experience the joy of making with fun after-school creativity sessions where students explore a variety of activities in their preferred medium, including drawing, painting, and polymer clay.

Turn your passion into skills. Learn the fundamentals of watercolor art with our experienced instructors who tailor lessons to fit your needs and interests. Classes will cover watercolor techniques, composition and color theory. Subjects: Still Life, Landscape, Florals, Birds and Animals.
